Common questions

How long does a typical migration take?
Usually 4–8 weeks for a single-source migration from a clean platform. Longer if your existing data lives in spreadsheets and inboxes (the audit usually finds more than expected). We run a paid discovery first so the migration quote is honest — no surprise scope creep mid-project.
What happens to our existing data?
Nothing destructive without your approval. We start with a read-only audit, produce a written field-mapping plan, run a test migration into a staging environment, then go live in a phased cutover. Old records are archived, not deleted — you keep your history.
How is our data kept safe during all this?

What does DSConnect cost?
DSConnect runs on a monthly subscription separate from the build cost. Pricing depends on user count and which modules you turn on — we walk you through it in discovery and quote it before you commit. Annual billing typically saves around 10%.
What if we stop working with you down the track?
Your DSConnect account stays yours — your data, your subscription, your history. We hand over the configuration playbook so you (or another partner) can keep running it without us. No lock-in built into the platform.
What if our sales process is genuinely complex?
We’re honest about fit. If you have multi-tier approval flows, complex quoting, or deep ERP integration, DSConnect probably isn’t the right answer — HubSpot, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics usually are. We’ll tell you that in the first call rather than wasting a quarter pretending otherwise.
